The glass etchings of bees are based on pictures of bees from my hives. This series developed out of my concern for the loss of bees due to a combination of environmental detriments such as overuse of pesticides, threatening invasive species, and an alarming loss of native habitat. The frames are actual Langstroth Hive frames that would be used for honeybees to build comb to store pollen and nectar in and raise brood.
